A caring community. Volunteer run, with a professional management company maintaining the property. Located close to the shore and Delaware Bay. Community amenities include a clubhouse, library, pool, gym, pickleball/tennis court, bocce and shuffleboard and many more activities. There are safe, well lit streets for walking and biking.

Community Information.

This is a caring community, with residents volunteering both within this community and within Cape May County. Osprey Point has a range of activities such as gardening, exercise groups, water and chair aerobics and a gym for individual workouts. Clubs include Majong, bridge, pinochle, dominoes, bocce, tennis and pickleball. Social events occur regularly - summer gazebo cocktail evenings, Men's Monthly Breakfasts, Women's Monthly Luncheons, veterans' and major holiday celebrations. The Social Committee organizes additional, special get-togethers.

Local Resources

Historic Cape May City is 25 minutes away with historic homes, museums, shopping, two theater companies and a diversity of restaurants. Ocean City is ten minutes away with concerts at the Music Pier, downtown shopping, and a community center (including art center, library, and recreation center) that presents concerts and art exhibits. Within Cape May County, there are wineries, breweries, a great zoo, local parks for walking and birding, historic societies and conservation areas.

Resources Within the Area

Atlantic City, with casinos, hotels, aquarium, shopping and restaurants, is 25 minutes away. Stockton University is 30 minutes away. The Performing Arts Center at the University presents a variety of concerts, talks, plays, ballet, and is the Bay Symphony's Sunday home during the season. Stockton also has a Center on Successful Aging which sponsors a variety of activities including classes, talks, art exhibits, and conferences.

Outdoor activities are plentiful. Forsythe National Wildlife Center, Cape May Bird Observatory and Cape May National Wildlife Refuge are famous world-wide for birding opportunities. The Pinelands National Reserve and Belleplain State Forest (and local parks throughout Cape May, Atlantic and Cumberland counties) offer organized and individual recreational opportunities.
